Greetings esteemed visitor. I'm Sérgio Mestre.

I am a proud native of the island of Sao Miguel in the Azores where I lived during my 49 years of age. For 20 years I was the owner of an architecture studio in collaboration with the architect João Carvalho and the architect Rita Silva. About the Azores

With almost six centuries of history the Azores it's an archipelago of 9 islands situated in the North-East Atlantic and is the westernmost point of Europe. Located at 4,5h from New York and 2h from Lisbon flight time travel, the climate of the Azores Islands is subtropical oceanic, pleasantly warm in summer yet cool or mild for many months. Consider to be a slice of heaven on heart not only due to its almost inexistent criminality but mainly due to its natural wonders and resources, the Azores it's the perfect option for people looking for a relaxed lifestyle.

São Miguel island, located at 37º North and 25º West, is the largest Island of the archipelago with 746 Km2 and also the most populated one. The nickname of "green island" comes from the green pastures that cover a large part of the island separated by pathways lined up with colourful flowers like hydrangeas. Here you will have the opportunity to live surrounded by natural wonders, enjoy great food and delight yourself with dip's on natural thermal pools. But don’t get fooled: it's not because of that you will away from current technology and modern ways of living.
